NOTICE!! We will be having a "cowboy exchange," so if you have any cowboy gear you want to sell, put a price tag on it and turn it over to Rose when you get to the range. Pick up any valuables at the end of each day. She'll manage the store and see to it that you get what's comin' to ya

Tue (10/7) - Shotgun Challenge 9 a.m.- 1 p.m. / opening ceremonies at DSC stadium, with parade of athletes starting 6:30 p.m. (be there early)
Wed (10/8) - Side Matches 9 a.m.- 1 p.m. (Plainsman event high noon)
Thu (10/9) - Main Match stages
Fri (10/10) - Main Match stages
Sat (10/11) - Team & Couples events
SENIOR GAMES CATEGORIES
are split into 5 year age groups starting at a minimum age of 50 years. Within your age group you must pick from one of the three categories offered for your gender and for which you qualify.

MENS CATEGORIES:
1. Frontier Cartridge (SASS Frontier Cartridge rules apply for guns and ammo, but all shooting styles are allowed - i.e., GF, two-handed, or duelist)
2. Open Category (all SASS-legal guns, ammo and shooting styles are allowed)
3. Duelist Category (SASS Duelist category rules apply).
LADYS CATEGORIES:
1. Traditional Category (includes SASS Traditional AND Modern categories)
2. Open Category (open to women who qualify for any SASS category OTHER THAN Traditional or Modern - for example; B-Western, Frontier Cartridge, Classic Cowgirl,
Gunfighter, etc.)
3. Duelist Category (SASS Duelist category rules apply).

PLEASE try to dress in an 1800's style. For example; blue jeans, long sleeved shirt, cowboy boots or other leather shoes/boots, and a cowboy hat. Women can go the same route or dress more feminine - your choice. We're easy on newcomers, but please do your best to keep in the "spirit of the game." Costuming is part of the game and a lot of the fun.
